Actors in Spanish Cooperation

Spanish Cooperation is made up of a diverse range of participants. This plurality contributes to the peculiarities of the Spanish system, which makes it stand out from other donor countries. Its variety enriches the system and creates the need for various mechanisms that allow all participants to work together and complement each other, preventing the fragmentation of its work.

"One of the ways to enhance the impact of our work is to build stronger and longer-lasting relationships between all parties involved in cooperation, complementing those established with partner countries and multilateral organisations and making the most of the unique contribution each participant can make towards our shared goals" (4th Master Plan for Spanish Cooperation 2013-2016).
